There is over billions of pounds of trash on Earth and the percentage is only growing as we continue through each year. Out of the billion tonnes of household wast that is produced worldwide each year, only a fraction of that waste actually goes to a dumpsite. The rest ends up in the ocean and other places, slowly poisoning the Earth. My poster sends the message of keeping life on Earth thriving to it’s fullest potential. I used the silhouette images of the elephant, tree and baby to symbolize life itself while surrounding the recycle symbol. My hopes in combining the two types of symbols will tell the viewer to “continue the cycle of life” and remind them recycling is one of the many ways that they can do so.
