About me

Born in 1971 in Porto, Portugal, Luís Veiga has dedicated his professional career to art direction and graphic design. With a degree in Advertising, it was in ad agencies context that he spent most of his career, including as creative director. Now, as a freelancer, he combines working for clients — from museums and winery projects to automotive brands —, with the freedom to explore new creative paths and participate in graphic design competitions and similar initiatives. These challenges, often associated with humanist causes and relevant social themes, are an opportunity for him to reflect on those issues and contribute, even if with only a grain of sand, to a better world. He has had his posters displayed in various parts of the globe, having received dozens of awards and distinctions. In his work, Luís practices the mantra "keep it simple", because he firmly believes that graphic design only makes sense if the message gets through.
