We’re sorry that we’ve been so quiet. We send you all our best wishes, and thank you for your patience. While you have been waiting for updates on our poster competition, we have been busy doing (other) right things.
 
The Woman, Life, Freedom movement that started in September 2022 has had a huge impact on many rules and restrictions in Iran. The Iranian government has continued to clamp down violently on any acts of dissent, which it has portrayed as "riots" instigated by foreign enemies. According to local human rights activists, nearly 500 protesters have been killed and over 18500 others detained. Critics say the regime has taken capital punishment to a new level, with several death sentences recently handed down to protesters. Even though the situation in Iran has become tense - and tough - we believe there is still hope.
 
We have been trying to help where we can by working with national and international organisations to provide six young Iranians with medical care in the USA. These young people were in desperate need of medical attention after being injured by bullets in their eyes, faces, and in some cases, entire bodies. Together with our partners we helped them travel to the USA where they received surgical operations. 
 
But now our attention is fully on the poster competition. The creators of the 300 shortlisted posters, and the 100 finalists, for this year’s edition will soon receive an email confirming their selection. The catalogue for ‘Do the right thing’ is now being prepared, and will be released during the exhibition later in the year. We can also announce that this year’s exhibition will launch during France Design Week (7 to 28 September 2023). Exact dates will follow as soon as possible.

Nous sommes désolés d'avoir été silencieux ces derniers temps. Nous vous adressons nos meilleurs vœux et vous remercions de votre patience. Pendant que vous attendiez des nouvelles de notre concours d'affiches, nous avons été occupés à faire (d'autres) bonnes choses.

Le mouvement "Femme, vie, liberté", qui a débuté en septembre 2022, a eu un impact considérable sur de nombreuses règles et restrictions en Iran. Le gouvernement iranien a continué à réprimer violemment tout acte de dissidence, qu'il a qualifié “d'émeutes" fomentées par des ennemis étrangers. Selon des militants locaux des droits de l'homme, près de 500 manifestants ont été tués et plus de 18500 autres détenus. Les critiques affirment que le régime a franchi un nouveau cap dans l'application de la peine capitale, plusieurs manifestants ayant été récemment condamnés à mort. Même si la situation en Iran est devenue tendue - et difficile - nous pensons qu'il y a encore de l'espoir.

Nous avons essayé d'apporter notre aide en collaborant avec des organisations nationales et internationales afin d'aider six jeunes Iraniens à recevoir des soins médicaux aux États-Unis.
Ces jeunes avaient désespérément besoin de soins médicaux après avoir été blessés par balles dans les yeux, le visage et, dans certains cas, le corps entier. Nous les avons aidés à quitter l'Italie et à s'envoler vers les États-Unis pour y subir des opérations chirurgicales.

Mais aujourd'hui, notre attention se porte sur le concours d'affiches. Les créateurs des 300 affiches présélectionnées et des 100 affiches finalistes, recevront bientôt un mail confirmant leur sélection. Le catalogue de "Do right thing" est en cours de préparation et sera publié lors de l'exposition qui aura lieu plus tard cette année. Nous pouvons également annoncer que l'exposition de cette année sera lancée pendant la France Design Week (du 7 au 28 septembre 2023). Les dates exactes vous seront communiquées dès que possible.

Sentimos haber estado en silencio. Les enviamos nuestros mejores deseos y les agradecemos su paciencia. Mientras han estado esperando actualizaciones sobre nuestro concurso de cartel, nos ha ocupado hacer (otras) cosas correctas.

El movimiento Mujer, Vida, Libertad que comenzó en Septiembre de 2022 ha tenido un gran impacto en muchas normas y restricciones en Irán. El gobierno iraní ha seguido reprimiendo violentamente cualquier acto de disidencia, lo cual ha sido presentado como "disturbios" instigados por enemigos extranjeros. Según activistas locales de derechos humanos, casi 500 manifestantes han muerto y más de 18,500 han sido detenidos. La crítica afirma que el régimen ha llevado la pena capital a un nuevo nivel, con varias condenas a muerte dictadas recientemente contra manifestantes. Aunque la situación en Irán se ha vuelto tensa -y dura-, creemos que aún hay esperanza.

Hemos intentado ayudar en lo que hemos podido, colaborando con organizaciones nacionales e internacionales para ayudar a seis jóvenes iraníes a recibir atención médica en Estados Unidos. Estas personas jóvenes necesitaban desesperadamente atención médica tras resultar heridas de bala en los ojos, la cara y, en algunos casos, el cuerpo entero. Les ayudamos a salir de Italia y volar a Estados Unidos para someterse a operaciones quirúrgicas.

Pero ahora, nuestra atención está plenamente en el concurso de carteles. Las personas creadoras de los 300 carteles preseleccionados, y de los 100 finalistas, para la edición de este año recibirán pronto un correo electrónico confirmando su selección. Se está preparando el catálogo de ‘Do the right thing’ (Haz lo correcto), el cual se dará a conocer durante la exposición a finales de año. También podemos anunciar que la exposición de este año se inaugurará durante la Semana Francesa del Diseño (del 7 al 28 de septiembre de 2023). Las fechas exactas se comunicarán lo antes posible.

Ci dispiace di essere stati così silenziosi. Vi inviamo i nostri migliori auguri e vi ringraziamo per la vostra pazienza. Mentre aspettavate gli aggiornamenti sul nostro concorso di manifesti, siamo stati impegnati a fare (altre) cose giuste.

Il movimento Donna, Vita, Libertà, iniziato nel settembre 2022, ha avuto un enorme impatto su molte regole e restrizioni in Iran. Il governo iraniano ha continuato a reprimere violentemente qualsiasi atto di dissenso, che ha dipinto come "rivolte" istigate da nemici stranieri. Secondo gli attivisti locali per i diritti umani, quasi 500 manifestanti sono stati uccisi e oltre 18500 altri sono stati arrestati. Secondo i critici, il regime ha portato la pena capitale a un nuovo livello, con diverse condanne a morte recentemente comminate ai manifestanti. Anche se la situazione in Iran è diventata tesa - e dura - crediamo che ci sia ancora speranza.

Abbiamo cercato di aiutare dove possibile, collaborando con organizzazioni nazionali e internazionali per aiutare sei giovani iraniani a ricevere cure mediche negli Stati Uniti. Questi giovani avevano un disperato bisogno di cure mediche dopo essere stati feriti da proiettili agli occhi, al volto e, in alcuni casi, all'intero corpo. Li abbiamo aiutati a lasciare l'Italia e a volare negli Stati Uniti per ricevere interventi chirurgici.

Ma ora la nostra attenzione è tutta rivolta al concorso per i poster. I creatori dei 300 poster selezionati e dei 100 finalisti dell'edizione di quest'anno riceveranno presto un'e-mail di conferma della loro selezione. Il catalogo di "Fa' la cosa giusta" è in fase di preparazione e sarà pubblicato durante la mostra nel corso dell'anno. Possiamo anche annunciare che la mostra di quest'anno sarà inaugurata durante la Settimana del design francese (dal 7 al 28 settembre 2023). Le date esatte seguiranno appena possibile.
