The practice of veiling is considered a part of the Muslim religious tradition. However, societal expectations and pressures have turned it into more of a constraint, limiting Muslim women from showcasing their beauty and personality. This contradicts the universal psychological trait of "The desire for beauty is inherent in all humans." Regardless of cultural backgrounds, people desire to display their best appearance and image. This artwork calls for respecting women's autonomy, allowing them to decide whether to wear a veil or headscarf. Moreover, I hope my work inspires all Muslim women to boldly pursue their own beauty and authenticity.
