Like a butterfly gets its freedom after breaking out of cacoon. Every woman in the world should have the freedom of choice to break out of the veil. In the artwork, the cacoon represents the veil. The butterfly represents the women of Iran who are brutally assaulted and murdered in Iran for their wish and struggle to get free from the cacoon (veil).
