The concept of this poster is visual play on multiple symbols and a play on words and idioms. The footprint is the symbol for movement and mobility. The inverted foot forms a dove, a symbol of peace, resting on eggs. The title "walking on eggs" is idiom that mean proceed with caution or precaution. People should be able to travel in peace, without the fear of danger or punishment. The eggs is play on the slang "to egg" or "egg on" someone, which means to encourage someone to action. Lastly, this is a visual pun. Hand prints are usually used to draw turkeys (a type of bird) for USA Thanksgiving holiday, so using the foot to make a dove is play on this idea.
