Hate speech offends, threatens or insults groups of people based on race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or other traits. The word "rant" means to speak or shout at length in an angry or emotionally charged manner. It perfectly describes the way many politicians—and others—spread their hateful and divisive ideas throughout the world.
