I think right now society has a very wide range of views. For some they are fighting for their own tradition, they don't need or want change, and traditions are important. On the other hand there are those that see injustices happening all over the world and throughout history, hoping for a better way, demanding things change. Right now, it's time for drastic measures. Some feel removing religion would solve all of our problems, and maybe it would but it is impossible to wipe out religion like it never existed to begin with, and some feel they need to fight to keep their religion strong and powerful, and their methodology of proving this also needs to be a drastic measure. This is creating quick judgements, the need for quick action and corrective measures. The topics are vast, the problems complex, and the solutions aren't easy to be found. Humans have a sense of self-righteousness by nature, we all are fighting for what we feel so passionately correct to the point we can't fathom our extreme opposites views. And it is all cropped, edited, and shared on social media, gathering likes and comments.
