"If You Lived Here You Would Be Home by Now" is a ubiquitous advertising line used to persuade home buyers to buy their homes near the convenience of neighborhoods that have all the resources of a good and prosperous life. Ironically, I have crudely written this sentence on a cardboard box and added the graffiti "less" to illustrate the poignant truth about this global problem.

But for far too many people home remains a distant dream, as they try to eke out an existence in sub-standard accommodation or sleep rough on the streets.
