João Borges. Born in Oporto, Portugal, in 1965, with a degree in Communication Design in the Faculty on Fine Arts in Lisbon, Master in Desseny / Producció Gráfica in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona; plastic artist, investigator and editor; was one of the designers of “Porto 2001, European Cultural Capital”. Art Director/Designer of a wide number of exhibitions and museum projects, is in the design market under the brand Atelier João Borges, where, since 1992, has developed a wide rage of projects to both institutional and cultural clients as well as publishers. Won the first prize in the international competition (2010) “World Urban Campaign”, logo for the United Nations. It was one of the winners of the international contest “Fight Poverty”, 2011, Italy.
