I like to define myself as a pop surrealist illustrator . I am fascinated by the popular medias such as comics , advertising , tattoos , movies and everything that moves away from " classical art " I started using pastel colors in the year I had seen Edward Scissorhands for the first time. I found both brilliant and disturbing the contrast between Gothic that I loved and pastel that I hated . Proof that you can learn to love, everything being a matter of context . So I decided to create contexts where pain, discomfort, taboos are expressed in smooth and pastel. One way to watch and learn to appreciate what is scary that we do not understand
