Jeffrey Davis is a professor, teaching Communication Design in the School of Art and Design at Texas State University-San Marcos since 2000. Mr. Davis is also a member of the Graduate College faculty teaching in the Communication Design MFA program.
His areas of research and instruction are in corporate identity, corporate marketing materials design, and brand development. Jeff brings over 20 years of design experience in international and national corporate marketing and branding for a broad array of clients across four continents including: Ritz-Carlton Residences, JCB BankJapan, Cushman Wakefield, Continental Airlines, Pepsi, Frito-Lay, the NBA Houston Rockets, Chevron, Exxon, ConocoPhillips, Cooper Industries, and Hines.
Jeff has been recognized for excellence by leading communication design organizations, publications, and journals such as: The New York Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, Communication Arts, Print, How, and Graphis Press. He has also served as a board member for the American Institute of Graphic Art
and the Art Directors club of Houston.
