Hi, my name is Ritwick Das and I am a digital artist & freelance graphic designer. I have completed my graduation in Graphic Design (Hons.) from the U.K. I am originally from New Delhi (India).When I decided to become a design student I wasnt quite sure about the manner in which things would turn out to be. I was more inclined towards music and as such was confused between the two. People always ask me "How did YOU, chose design over music?" well, the answer for that is quite simple. I did not chose over anything, I just decided to continue music as a hobby rather than a proffession. I believe that music is something that is very close to ones heart and should not be a means of income for anybody. Many would debate with me over that but thats my opinion. About me as a musician, I am a grade 8 pianist and the piano is my primary instrument. I have also launched an album under my name called "Ritwick Das : Homage to Tagore". Apart from the piano I learnt the Tabla(An Indian percussion instrument) for 7 years and was adjudged state champion in the year 2000. I am also a part of a professional rock band "Ocean Blues" and join them as their songwriter/composer and guitarist.In terms of Design, I am open to all forms of design aesthetics and enjoy it thoroughly. I believe in simplicity and always try to make my audience understand my work through the most minimalist way possible.
