Nelu Wolfensohn is associated titular professor at the School of Design of the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), founder of the Concepts for All project, —the first free of charge Internet image bank dedicated to humanitarian causes (conceptsforall.uqam.ca), and of CRIN, a digital images research center (crin.uqam.ca).

A poster artist of international reputation, his work is well known and received many awards in Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Mexico City, Moscow, Paris, Jerusalem, Seoul, Toyama, Warsaw and Zurich. His posters are part of various museums, libraries and private collections.
