Im an animator and illustrator living and working in San Francisco, California. As a visual artist, Im interested in finding ways that art and design can help to provide/augment a voice for social justice causes. I think artists are often in a position to contribute the same visual communication skills that benefit corporate advertising to organizations and awareness campaigns working in social justice. I’m not always sure in what ways art really fits in with being politically active, but I still think as artists we can use our skills to make an important and positive impact for social change.
