He is a Public Health Technologist at the Institute of Scientific and Technological Communication and Information in Health (ICICT/FIOCRUZ). He has an academic background in Design at the undergraduate level from the University Center of the City of Rio de Janeiro (UniverCidade) and a Master's degree in Teaching and Biosciences and Health from the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/FIOCRUZ). He is the coordinator of Fiocruz Imagens, the Fiocruz Image Bank, and art editor of the electronic scientific journal RECIIS. He is a member of the multidisciplinary research group certified by CNPq, NECES - Center for Teaching, Culture, Spirituality and Health (Fiocruz). He headed the Multimedia Department, a development center in the area of ​​Arts and Design at the Institute of Scientific and Technological Communication and Information in Health (ICICT/FIOCRUZ). Develops teaching, research and project activities in the fields of Communication and Information with emphasis on the following themes: Public Health, Exhibition Projects, Editorial Projects, Visual Arts and Digital Image.
