About me
Laura Massa, born in Milan, studied Classics and Art History and holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication.
She is a visual designer and founded her own studio in Milan in 1988.
From 2000 to 2008 she set up with Christoph Marti and in association with the Swiss advertising agency Lesch + Frei offices in Zurich and Frankfurt working for international brands in the fields of Brand identity, Orientation design and Art direction.
She works on 'Emergency Communication' in partnership with UNHCR - United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in particular in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
She supervises research projects on the quality of visual communication in lack of means and in precarious conditions.
She is a project lecturer and researcher at the Bachelor of Visual Communication at Supsi in Mendrisio, where, in addition to teaching, she is involved in cultural project communication and creative direction of visual projects.
She is responsible for all modules of the cultural subjects and coordinator of the theoretical area for the Bachelor of Visual Communication.
