Graphic-Designer and Author from Stuttgart, in the South of Germany.

Worked for agencies like büro uebele and Jung von Matt. He created work for clients such as: Mercedes-Benz, Wella, Grundig, to name a few and earned several awards.

He is also the co-author of the book rotis – eine Streitschrift about the famous typeface rotis from Otl Aicher, published at the famous publisher Verlag Hermann Schmidt Mainz.

At the moment he runs his own studio – named burkhardthauke – büro für gestaltung since a couple of months.
