Piotrek Pietrzak – born 1990.
Studied at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Design in Professor Lech Majewski's and Professor Andrzej Węcławski's studio of publishing graphics. Master of Fine Arts cum laude "All people are equal".
Bachelor of Fine Arts, Faculty of Media Arts (major: animated film. minor: photography, camera work). What is more he studied at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Cracow at the Faculty of Painting. Piotrek Pietrzak also graduated from Fine Arts High School in Dąbrowa Górnicza (major: graphics techniques) The artist received numerous prizes and awards, both at national level competitions as well as international ones. Among these he received:
Silver medal at the 7th International Poster Biennale in China 2015.
First Prize at a poster contest – AMS Poster Gallery: „Tacy jesteśmy. Polacy 1989-2014"; (That's what we are. The Poles 1989-2014).
Billboard contest "Cityscape" Labirynt Gallery – an award and an exhibition in the streets of Lublin city.
Second Prize in a design contest for airplane plating of Flaris LAR1 2014 – Jury Honorable Mention at the 25th National Young Painting Review „Promocje 2015" A poster competition for the 150th anniversary of city charter of Katowice 2014 – Jury Honorable Mention.
The 16th National Painting Location for the outstanding students of fine arts schools Jezów, Third Prize. Second Prize in the 11th National Young Artists Contest „ART TALENT 2008”; Third Prize in a national painting contest "Still life with red 2008" Second Proze in a national contest for a magazinf cover „Teraz Polska" (Now Poland) 2014 Grand Prix – I Prize for painting at the 8th National Drawing and Painting Biennale for the outstanding studentst of fine arts schools. Piotrek Pietrzak practices painting, drawing, graphics, and designes. He performs poster events in urban spaces. He took part in over 30 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad and in 12 individual exhibitions.
He was also recognized as a participant of Comingout ASP Best Diplomas of Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2015. For his outstanding artistic achievements he was awarded an Academy of Fine Arts Rector's Scholarship (2013-2014) as well as a Sosnowiec City
President's scholarship (2014-2015).
