She is internationally recognized as a storyteller and change maker. Hiba excels in narrative building, media relations, and climate advocacy, contributing significantly to the discourse on climate change adaptation in Pakistan.
Hiba began her career at HUM TV, where she produced flagship morning show and programs that highlighted women's empowerment, gender-based violence, and gender equality. Her dedication to uplifting Pakistan's most vulnerable communities has been a consistent theme throughout her career.
During her tenure at the United Nations, Hiba spearheaded major projects aimed at advancing gender equality and women's economic empowerment on a global scale. Hiba's leadership extends to international platforms; she recently participated in the 68th session of the Commission on Status of Women at UNGA in New York, advocating alongside Ambassador Munir Akram, Pakistan’s representative to the UN, on the disproportionate impacts of climate change on women and young girls.
Hiba is a US Department of State Pro Fellow on Governance and Society and is currently pursuing a Masters in Social Innovation for Sustainable Development from the University of Turin, Italy.
