Israel Alberto Aguilar Cortés is a graphic designer, art director, and academic specializing in the creation of audiovisual projects, poster design, illustration, branding, and experimental animation. His artistic practice is characterized by a continuous exploration that combines both analog and digital techniques—an approach that has led him to showcase his graphic work on both national and international platforms.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising from the Universidad de Oriente. Since 2015, he has served as a Full-Time Professor and Researcher at the Universidad Politécnica de Bacalar within the Animation and Visual Effects Engineering program, where he fosters the training of new generations of artistic creators and the development of multimedia products in the region. Additionally, he has collaborated as a lecturer at the Universidad Modelo de Chetumal and UNID, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to the cultural and educational development of Quintana Roo.
In the artistic realm, his work in poster design and digital graphics has achieved considerable global recognition. His pieces have been selected by international juries for renowned biennials and exhibitions in more than ten countries, including South Korea, Germany, Poland, the United States, Spain, Taiwan, Finland, and Iran.
