The periodic table is a visual inventory of the elements essential to life. This poster imagines one more, Dg, Dignity, positioned as Element 0 to suggest that dignity exists before all else. While oxygen, carbon, and hydrogen sustain the human body, dignity sustains our humanity. By adopting the familiar language of science, the work reframes dignity not as an abstract ideal or privilege, but as a fundamental element of every human life. The fictional atomic mass, 30.000, references the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, reinforcing that dignity is the foundation upon which all human rights are built.
