Doves represent peace. Photographs are a format I rarely use. The dove's body is depicted in a horrific, tragic image, its outline drawn with colored lines, symbolizing emerging from sorrow and echoing anti-war sentiments. The composition is quite full, emphasizing a sense of explosiveness. The dove's many textures are rendered using photographic techniques, with light, colorful lines conveying simplicity and the fragility of life. The chosen English font also has a slightly explosive and fluid feel.
