The pandemic amplified the urgency to contemplate a topical issue: Digital Inclusion. Right now 40% (3 billion people) of the global population are disconnected. These statistics only highlight a fragment of the issue facing the digital divide vs. digital inclusion. It occurred to me to show the QR code made from a diversity of different people as a welcome message to the world to become E-quals. My approach was playful - each person is simply made from the module of a square. Internet is a fundamental human right and everybody deserves to have access to it.
