Respect is the right thing to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Respect is a very strong word including all the kindness of the human being, all the secret for a better harmony in our living. Respecting our boundaries, respecting human beings, animal, nature. Respecting our choices, our identities. Respect means staying in peace with everyone while living freely. Everybody should remember that, but unfortunately we need always need a wakeup call. So.. Respect for a better life. I chose to stay very universal in my message as there is so many respect problems all around the world, and it should be a right for every single one, no matter the fight they're going through. As it have to be simple, I chose to design very simple and strong shapes & colors so the informations remains easy to understand : respect & friendship for everyone, all around the world. My illustrations are naive to give it a joyful, playful yet full of hope design, like a very minimalistic instructions for use. I often use cheap, kitsch and lo-fi aesthetics in my work with an experimental illustration and type design approach.
