Through my poster, the doubts felt throughout our lives regarding our gender identity are explained, especially during adolescence. Indeed, our genre is constantly evolving. With this visual, I have chosen to represent this questioning with a word, which is divided into three parts: “Who”; " Woman” and “man ". When we talk about gender identity, we are also talking about gender expression, which means the way we present ourselves through pronouns or a style of dress for example. However, it is not easy to find a style in clothing stores where clothes are already gendered. In order to show dissatisfaction with this situation where we would prefer “neutral” clothes, I have chosen to signify a label that is cut by scissors in order to break the codes. Label that we attribute to ourselves or not. Here, I decided to cut the “woman” genre, which groups the “man” genre if we cut it in two. Two genres in one. But who am I if I don't belong to these genres? This is the question exposed on my poster, a question still unresolved and under construction. "Work in Progress" means that it requires long reflection, questioning and that it is important to give everyone the time to find themselves. A better world is possible when everyone accepts themselves and others. The red color expresses this anger that we feel in us, this flame that pushes us to ask ourselves the right questions in order to feel better about ourselves.

Do The Right Thing

In a world that is becoming increasingly polarised, perhaps the one thing that unites us all is the conviction that we are all acting for the right reasons. And having formed an opinion about an issue, there is little room to have it changed by listening to an opposing view. Fake news has eroded trust in facts. So how can we move forward?
