“Doing the right thing” has always been about making the right choice, choosing the right path. Not only that, doing the right thing requires navigation and exploration of the right choice, as well as the willingness to let go of or leave behind parts of the “wrong” self. Doing the right thing is not a state of being, but a process. In the poster, the individual letters of “THING” are seen exploring and navigating the “right” path, towards salvation, and are seen leaving behind parts of their “wrong” self in the form of their shadows.
