In India, the Hijab Ban was imposed by the government to not wear hijabs in educational institutions like schools or colleges, deeming the garment “against the dress code”. “The concept of uniform is to avoid discrimination between students. There is neither place for hijab nor saffron scarves in educational institutes,” Smriti Hartis, the party’s spokeswoman, told Al Jazeera. Like a paper doll without strings, every female Muslim's rights are strategically being stripped by Hindu Nationalist groups (represented as the saffron draping in the background), with India’s own Prime Minister being the puppet master, gambling against human lives for the sake of a single secular country.

Do The Right Thing
In a world that is becoming increasingly polarised, perhaps the one thing that unites us all is the conviction that we are all acting for the right reasons. And having formed an opinion about an issue, there is little room to have it changed by listening to an opposing view. Fake news has eroded trust in facts. So how can we move forward?
