It is often that we forget that a lot of people migrate to escape miserable, life-threatening environments. Not only in war-ridden nations, but also in countries ravaged by corruption and organized crime, getting home safely is never a guarantee. By building walls and closing borders, we might be blocking someone’s only scape from death.
