Through the idea of the quote of Italo Calvino, I understood that my concept would be stronger and more effective if, instead of showing suffering people, I would emphasize how the freedom of movement is a win-win. And also how everyone would be affected in a negative way if this human right would be denied. I decided to used mixed media, drawing over my picture to erase part of it and underline the idea of absence through a completely white “cut”.The black and white is used in a graphic way, to define better shapes and context.
