This poster is inspired by "The New Colossus", a poem by Emma Lazarus that depicts the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor as the “Mother of Exiles". The spirit of this symbol of immigration and opportunity combined with an excerpt from John Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath", is an invitation for each of us to find a path towards cooperation rather than domination.
