My interpretation of Freedom of Movement has been visualized with a metaphor of a funnel. The definition of a funnel can be explained as, a tube or pipe that is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, used for guiding liquid or powder into a small opening. By this definition a funnel takes allot of something and forces it into a smaller opening. This to me is a perfect metaphor for what is currently happening in the world. Trump’s abuse of power is apparent and should be fought against with everything that we have. There is no future with such a narrow minded approach. The ‘funnel’ should be the other way around. Diversity and change should be celebrated. Together we can build a better future.
