While constantly having the refugee crisis in mind, I made this poster to raise public awareness to the amount of discrimination that these people have faced in the last years of their lives. It highlights how such a simple choice as the use of a scarf can easily affect your freedom of movement, due to acts of racism, xenophobia and, more specifically, islamophobia. The brown in the background is however a light to all this darkness. Brown is the color of humans since everyone is just a shade of brown, either lighter, darker, or even with a little pinch of pink, but we can all be connect through it since we all belong to the same species. Brown is also representative of the mixing colours of people since in painting, to get brown you mix the three primary colours.
