All of these words carry weight. They are all words that serve to dehumanise other human beings. Treating innocent people as criminals for reasons other than trying to escape turmoil, persecution and death is a crime within itself. As people lucky enough to live outside of these war-ravaged countries, we have the power to change perceptions and growing feelings of resentment. We must protect those less fortunate than us. We must allow them their basic human rights. Movement is EMPOWERMENT.
