I came to Australia as a refugee from Bosnia at the age of 15. Having the opportunity to re-settle in Australia has made huge positive impact on my life. How can we possibly deny others the same opportunity? No more walls! Empathy, compassion and basic human decency are needed instead, otherwise the world will become an even darker, more desperate place than it is already.
