Homosexuality was until very recently punishable by death in Uganda. The stigma around being gay in Uganda is still very strong and being gay in Uganda is a death penalty in itself. Family ties are broken with homosexual individuals and they are 'dead' to their community and friends. Many people flee their home country as a result. This poster aims to bring this situation to light and is a plea for more acceptance of the LGBT community in this country.
