Acts of extremism become populated on social media through the use of hashtags. People share these hashtags with hope that it will make a difference, however all this does is turn serious issues into a trend that lasts a few months and gets forgotten about.
My poster aims to show people that instead of sitting behind a screen and sharing posts, we should get involved physically by donating money or even lending a helping hand.
My poster shows the image of one of the Chibok girls that went missing 2 years ago. But if you look closer, you will see that the image is made up of tiny hashtags.
