Living in a society where most of our youth and South Africans are exposed to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and the environment of pill taking in the form of ketamine, ecstasy the drug world. When parents have children within a situation where they might not be ready or equipped for the life they are now creating for themselves and also for their now born children. What to do from their side, “change my life for the child that I know have” or “let the child now live through what is now detailed in front of them and make do with what they have been dumped in. A child is after all said to be born into sin of not their on doing but that of their parents the ones that made the manifestation of this being. They are left to make a choice, they are not equipped, trained or lived enough to be able to make a choice. The choice I know of that they had is to either cry at birth after being pulled into this world or die. It is said that when a child cries after being pulled or pushed out of a mother’s body is due to the effect or reaction he/she has to the sins and poisons of life. Life is about choices but not meant for those who are meant to be the forward thinkers and coming with insight that we have lost through growth and corruption from living. It does not help that we live in a medicated world where the housewife uses antidepressants to deal with every emotion you have has a pill to help you deal.
