With a 6,500% increase in terrorist attacks worldwide since 9/11, extremist violence is not uncommon to hear about these days. It is also not uncommon to hear mention of the Americans that lost their lives on 9/11. My question is: why are millions of deaths such a whisper when the lives lost aren't so close to home? At the end of the day, we're all human - so how dare anyone sugarcoat that.
