What inspired me to make this poster is the inequality of water distribution that is going on in our world today. There are over 1.1 billion people on Earth that do not have access to safe, clean drinking water. Drinking dirty water is the cause of over 1,600,000 average deaths per year. This average can be lowered drastically if we were all a little more conscious of our water consumption and tried to cut down whenever and wherever we can. We must also improve our water pipelines so that we can expand the range of people we get clean water to. It is everyone's responsibility to help manage our water consumption so that more people have access to water. In my poster I wanted to make the point that we must manage the water we are using up and make sure everyone gets the amount they need.
