My father had health problems for almost ten years after he had a massive stroke that left him paralyzed and unable to speak other than few dozen words. He passed away last December but I am grateful that the health care system in Canada was able to prolong his life by almost a decade and give him a best quality of life possible. We were there for him. They were there for him. This is dedicated to my father Slobodan Vaskovic and the doctors and nurses that took care of him.
