People should be paid decently depending on the effort the profession requires. Usually just a college degree changes everything but that does not means that the work they do is more than the work of a person who work as a carpenter. For example, people that work in the fields, that is a though job and they usually earn the minimum wage or less. It is a matter of opportunity for people to go to college and not everyone has that opportunity . It is a complex issue. Just because a person do not have a degree that does not mean they should earn less money.
