This poster seeks to raise awareness about blood diamond mining, an ongoing issue in conflict stricken countries such as Côte d’Ivoire and Liberia, according to Amnesty International and The Global Witness.
Those who are forced to work in diamond mines face poor conditions, receive pay as low as US$0.07 a day (Conflict Diamond Statistics) and may even become victims of modern-day human slavery, rape, amputation and torture.
