‘We All Deserve a Home’ - notice ‘all’ in the title. Immediately we think of people, but what about all the other creatures in this world that require homes?
With this poster I wanted to create awareness of how important it is to have ‘a home’. The world is a giant ecosystem, where all creatures are interdependent. As humans are the most evolved creatures, they often perceive themselves as superior and dominate the animal kingdom by destroying habitats, which in turn destroys other creatures homes.
I chose pictograms to represent the different categories of the animal kingdom (insects, fish, birds, reptiles, & mammals) as they are simple and easy to understand throughout the world by breaking the language barrier.
The concept aims to create world-wide awareness of the idea that not only do humans deserve a home but so do ‘all’ other species.

‘Home’ means something different to all of us. The place where we grew up, the place where we live at the moment, the place we come to relax or entertain our friends. But for far too many people home remains a distant dream, as they try to eke out an existence in sub-standard accommodation or sleep rough on the streets.
