The depiction of hope for a homeless family is portrayed in the form of an illusion. The family longs for shelter and sees the surroundings reminding about it's absence. A typical city street is juxtaposed with the form of a house in the eyes of this family. I have chosen a colour which reflects desire. The illustration is kept minimal in terms of colour and drawing to let the illusion work without interruption.

But for far too many people home remains a distant dream, as they try to eke out an existence in sub-standard accommodation or sleep rough on the streets.
