A home for millions of people is only: a hope. In this poster a home is illustrated, like a light bulb, illuminated in the dark. The word “home” is written in English and Arabic as “menzelee”. I want the poster provide a voice for the homeless within the Arab region. The “lee” of “menzelee” and the “me” of “home” are repeated representing the many individual voices expressing a hope for a home. In both languages the concept of a home for me becomes visually represented.

But for far too many people home remains a distant dream, as they try to eke out an existence in sub-standard accommodation or sleep rough on the streets.
