Home - the vessel that keeps us afloat.
This poster is a reference to the refugee 'boat people' that travel to my country, Australia. An ongoing inhumane government policy, the political treatment of ‘boat people’ in generating fear and loathing amongst the Australian public has always disgusted me. Refugees/'boat people' are like us all, simply looking for home, a place they can live in peace.

‘Home’ means something different to all of us. The place where we grew up, the place where we live at the moment, the place we come to relax or entertain our friends. But for far too many people home remains a distant dream, as they try to eke out an existence in sub-standard accommodation or sleep rough on the streets.
