I drew a bird on a nest conveying the shelter and refuge that a bird finds on its own nest. I tried to show a contrast between the warm nest and the sorroundings. At the same time I used cold colors for the nest to convey the stillnes and calmness of "home" and I tried to use sharp lights to express the feeling of the bird huddling between the blankets of a comfortable home. There are lots of birds flying in the background and not all of them may have a tree with a warm nest waiting for them.
