The main purpose of the poster is to make people aware of the lack of freedom of speech some prisoners lack. Thus, we came up with the idea of showing a subject that cannot talk. A black strip across the whole poster covers the subject’s mouths, and this symbolizes his inability to speak and defend himself. Instead of a normal rope for the noose, we chose to make the noose out of hands.
