Saima Zaidi, a communication designer, teaches history of design at the the Department of Visual Studies, University of Karachi.

She studied at the National College of Arts, Lahore and the Pratt Institute, New York.

Zaidi has edited and designed the book, Mazaar, Bazaar: Design and Visual Culture in Pakistan published by the Oxford University Press, Karachi, in collaboration with the Prince Claus Fund Library, Amsterdam.
